Sivaraj Naturopathy and Yoga Medical College is a private college in Tamil Nadu. The college was established in the year 1996 with an intake of 40 seats per year. It is located in Salem in Tamil Nadu.
Naturopathy and Yoga is an Indian System of medicine such as Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy. Naturopathy is a system of medicine which is coming under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. The college provides B.N.Y.S. for 5 ½ years duration. It includes the first 4 ½ years of Academic sessions and then 1 year of compulsory Internship for the students.
The college provides good faculty and staff, good infrastructure, transportation facilities, hostel facilities separately for the girls and boys, Cafeteria and other facilities for the students.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities. There are good classrooms, a large number of Laboratories and other facilities for the students to learn theoretically and practically. There is a spacious and well-stocked Library which has more than 25000 books and reference materials for lending to the students and faculty.
The library also has many subscriptions as well. There are more than 25 specialized National and International Journals, Magazines and Dailies along with a wide range of CDs, CD ROMs, DVDs, Question Banks and more. The library also provides facilities for taking Xerox and has Internet facilities for the students and staff.
The college has well-qualified and experienced faculties and staff for helping the students learn well in the classroom for theory and practical sessions.
The college also has a good herbal garden. Sivaraj Herbal Garden has located nearby the academic complex at the foothills of Kanjamalai in an area of more than 30 acres containing rate collections of more than 1000 species available for teaching purposes and for medicinal preparation in the labs here.
These herbs are providing knowledge and information for the students, and research workers and many are properly maintained under the supervision of an experienced Medical Botanist.
There is a separate warehouse provided for the preservation of endangered medicinal plants to conserve them for future generations. The medicinal plants cultivated in the garden are more virtuous than in other areas as this is located in the foothills of Kanjamalai where the ancient Siddhars explored rare and precious medicinal plants.
There is a Cafeteria available in the Sivaraj Medical College which runs on the campus to serve delicious varieties of food items at affordable rates for the students, staff and faculty, parents and other visitors. The Canteen here has a spacious Dining space with purifies hot and cold water supply as well.
Hostel facilities are available in the institution. There are separate hostels for girls and boys with modern facilities for boarding and other recreational activities. The hostel for the boys has a capacity to accommodate 150 boys and the girls’ hostel can accommodate 150 girls in the hostels. There are cubicles and dormitories for the students.
Both of the hostels have Common Rooms, Gyms, Volleyball grounds, Badminton Courts and other facilities for indoor games. Every room in the hostel is equipped with a bed, a study table and study chair, a cupboard and an easy chair for the students to make use of.
There are several clubs which organize all the cultural events and other celebrations and events in the hostel. Various committees like Sports, Discipline, Cultural, Mess and Maintenance have been established here to provide good opportunities for the overall development of the personalities of the students during the time they stay here.
Daily Newspapers and various Magazines are provided for the students to make them aware of the current affairs in the world.
There is also a Mess available here to provide the students with healthy and hygienic food. The mess is maintained on a cooperative basis here.
The institution provides transportation facilities for the students and staff to come to the college. There are College Buses available that connect various points in Salem City. The college is also easily accessible from the Salem Old Bus Stand through Government and Private operated buses.
